Reduction of greenhouse gases
Interhome Group offers all its customers the opportunity to offset the CO2 emissions created by their stay in the holiday accommodation and to make an important contribution to climate protection.
Our partner myclimate
With the support of myclimate, we have calculated an average value of the emissions. In 2022 the price to compensate for the carbon emitted is between EUR 1.60 – EUR 2.40 per night, per holiday home. myclimate is our partner in effective climate protection – globally and locally. Interhome Group works with myclimate in creating a more sustainable future through climate protection projects. myclimate is a non-profit organisation with a market and customer-oriented focus.
All climate protection projects funded by myclimate meet the highest standards (Gold Standard, Plan Vivo) and, in addition to reducing greenhouse gases, make a positive contribution to local and regional sustainable development.

Compensation through M-climate fund
Since 2018, our holding company Migros has been declaring, reducing and offsetting all greenhouse gas emissions generated by the air transportation of its goods through specially developed climate protection projects. These are implemented by myclimate in the Migros supply chain, both in Switzerland and internationally.
Since 2021, all companies belonging to Migros, are given the option to price their CO2 emissions and use the generated financial resources to promote climate protection in the value chains of Migros both at home and abroad. Interhome Group invests the CO2 offsets in the M climate fund, which is run by myclimate in close cooperation with Migros.
The carbon offset projects which are financed through this fund, aim to lower emissions in the long term and reach the targets of the Science Base Target Initiative (SBTi). myclimate is responsible for the project assessment, the calculation and the monitoring of the respective CO2 reductions as well as fund management.
